10 DAYS OUT
Went away for 10 days out of Jakarta.. to Nagreg.. to Jatinangor. It's a yearly schedule for news TV stations to send their teams following the holy month of Ramadhan to do live reports on the traffic (and other stories) in the areas. We took LOTS of pictures.. oh the excitement working with such an awesome group of people. Now it's all over, no more waking up at 3 in the morning.. but I'll miss it.

There are lots of dangerous slopy roads in Nagreg.. 9 yr old Gilar is one of SO MANY boys who makes money by helping vehicles with slopy road issue, stucking his wooden tool (in the middle picture) behind the vehicles' tyre to avoid them from going backwards. The drivers will keep driving.. the car will keep moving.. these boys will keep running and stucking the wooden tool til the car can move on its own. It's a dangerous job but according to him, he can earn up to US$10 per day if he does this full til 2 in the morning.

Rebecca & Christina... with the crew in our rented house in Nagreg.. where the boys sleep on a 5 cm thick sheet while me & Bec get the mattresses. So unfair.. but hey.. we give birth.

I close this post with this gorgeous combo.. check out the heart-shape steak. God is faithful.

Ah, sayang, aku nggak pernah nonton TV, kalo nggak asyik kan bisa lihat Tintin lagi reportase heheheheh
Ya.. a bit like when you drop a book to the rubbish bin, you pick it up and say 'it's dirty!!'. When you drop me to the rubbish bin, you pick it up and say 'oh crap she's dekil'. But if it's a good book, you don't throw it away.
Belalangnya rambutnya aga aga gondrong ini.. tapi bagus juga nyeheheh.
i like it how everyone wears pluggas, even with socks in the sun!
